    [ltr]The ministers of Iraq, Jordan, Egypt, Mauritania, Somalia, Palestine, Yemen and Sudan opened the ministerial session of the Council of Arab Economic Unity in Cairo on Thursday.[/ltr]
    [ltr]The spokesman of the Ministry of Commerce, Mohammad Hanoun al-Hamdani said that the work of the Hundred and fifth session of the Council of Arab Economic Unity kicked off today with Iraqi participation through an economic delegation led by the oldest Undersecretary Walid Habib al-Moussawi.[/ltr]
    [ltr]"The fourth item was related to the report of the Committee of Representatives as a standing committee. The fourth item was related to any new business," he said.[/ltr]
    [ltr]He pointed out that the memoranda of the General Secretariat of the Council were discussed on the amendments received from the Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation in Egypt on a number of studies including a study on the role of tourism policy in improving the level of economic development by applying to the Egyptian situation and studying the role of the state in the development of small enterprises to reduce economic impacts The negative effects of unemployment and the study of investment contracts in international construction and dispute settlement mechanisms.[/ltr]
    [ltr]A study on biofuels, possibilities and opportunities for Arab-African integration, a study of the economic impact of food losses on Arab food security and the practical application of local currencies to settle international payments (the exchange and trade exchange agreement and a study on the green economy in the Arab world as a cornerstone for development) And the study of social partnership and its role in supporting scientific research and achieving sustainable development and vision of specialized Arab federations specialized in the implementation of sustainable development programs.[/ltr]
    [ltr]A spokesman for the Ministry of Commerce said that the project of producing biofuels as one of the sources of renewable energy through the cultivation of non-traditional plants in the deserts of the Arab world was implemented in implementation of the recommendation of the forty-sixth periodic meeting of specialized Arab federations and a note on the recommendations of the 47th meeting.[/ltr]
    [ltr]He referred to the review of the report and recommendations of the meeting of the Investment and Trade Development Mechanism in the Arab countries, the report and recommendations of the Trade Planning and Coordination Meeting, the report and recommendations of the meeting of legal experts to discuss the draft law on joint Arab companies and a note on the report and recommendations of the Statistical Commission.[/ltr]
    [ltr]He also referred to the submission of a memorandum to the Secretariat General on the recommendations of the 47th meeting of the Arab Union of Specialized Quality held in Fujairah, UAE.[/ltr]
    [ltr]He also pointed out that Iraq suggested that the work of this session should be discussed by the Union of Commercial Arbitration, which is expected to be discussed today.[/ltr]
    [ltr]Among the work of this session was also the discussion of the form of the Commercial Arbitration Union submitted by Iraq and Egypt in order to reach a final formulation of the Union.[/ltr]
    [ltr]The meetings of the Preparatory Committee and the Follow-up Committee were chaired by the Commercial Attaché in Cairo on the last two days[/ltr]
