    The head of the House of Representatives Mohamed Halboussi, on Saturday, the Finance Committee to host the Border Ports Authority to see the application of tariff customs in some cases.

    A parliamentary source said in an interview with Alsumaria News, "The Speaker of the House of Representatives directs the Finance Committee to host the border crossing points in order to identify the reasons for non-application of tariff customs in some cases in the Kurdistan region and the ports of Basra."




    The House of Representatives held on Saturday, its first session of the second legislative term under the chairmanship of Mohammed Halbusi and the presence of the presidents of the Republic and ministers.

    The head of the Iraqi Council of Representatives Mohamed Halboussi on Saturday to investigate the failure to apply customs tariffs at times in the ports of the Kurdistan region, and the ports of oil-rich Basra province in southern Iraq.
    In a meeting held today, Halboussi addressed the Finance Committee by hosting the Border Ports Authority in order to identify the reasons for the non-application of customs tariffs in some cases in the Kurdistan Region and the ports of Basra.
    He also expressed the readiness of the House of Representatives to make amendments to any law that contributes to the fight against corruption, especially the decisions issued by the Revolution Command Council dissolved.
    Halboussi asked the Prime Minister, who attended the parliamentary session today to send and nominate names to end the file of the proxy administration of the two bodies of integrity and the Office of Financial Supervision within a month.
    A parliamentary source told Shafak News that the House of Representatives voted on a draft resolution to support the judiciary to provide the full requirements that contribute to the fight against corruption.
    The source added that the council voted on the wording of a decision in principle to abolish the offices of the inspectors and activate the role of the prosecution.
    The source said that the House of Representatives raised its meeting to next Monday at one o'clock.
