Hindawi: 221 trillion dollars of investment volume expected to be witnessed in the coming years

Hindawi said in a press statement that the decline in prices in 2014 entered the country in a crisis suffocation and caused a major complication of the development reality in [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and the disruption of many projects.

He added that the five-year plan (2018-2022) is different from its predecessors by adopting the principle of partnership between the public and private sectors, noting that the pre-2014 period had no role for the private sector in the five-year plans.
pointed out that the volume of investments expected to be witnessed in Iraq during the coming years amounts to about 220 to 221 trillion dollars, and that the private sector will take 40% of the volume of such investments compared to 60% of the public sector.
He pointed out that the private sector will exceed 50% of investments in the housing sector and development sectors which are supportive of the economy such as agriculture, tourism, and diversion industries, not to mention the activation of taxes, customs and telecommunications, which will positively affect the security in Iraq.
