The head of the border affairs department at the Iranian Foreign Ministry Shahriar Haidari announced that the port of Khosravi in the western province of Kermanshah, which is opposite the al-Manziriya port in Diyala province on the Iraqi side, will open to visitors a month before the visit.
According to Fares, Haidari said that in light of expectations of an increase in the number of visitors to the next 40 because of the cancellation of the price of the visa, we have taken programs to consider to facilitate the travel of visitors.

He said that in the light of the talks, the Khosravi crossing will be opened for the 40th anniversary of the current year. The Iraqi government has declared its readiness to do so by 95 percent.
The secretary of the Central Committee for the 40th Al-Husseini ceremonies said that the Khosravi crossing will be opened a month before the 40th visit, indicating that according to the programs taken, the Khosravi crossing is scheduled to open a month before the 40th to provide the necessary means for crossing the visitors.
