[size=18]Spokesman for the coalition of the State of Law MP Bahaa al-Din al-Nuri, on Saturday, his refusal to resolve or freeze the work of provincial councils, stressing the absence of positive reasons for the dissolution of those councils.

Al-Nouri said in an interview for Alsumaria News that "the demand to dissolve all provincial councils or freeze their work and that the House of Representatives is the supervisor of control in the provinces until the elections are not successful or correct," noting that "the provincial councils have a supervisory role on the governor and departments SOA, MP has a lot of regulatory duties to follow up with the ministries and provinces and therefore can not replace the members of the provincial council.

Al-Nouri added that "the status of Nineveh province is a special situation and the challenges are different, and seeking to resolve the Council is linked to certain circumstances can not be circulated to the rest of the provinces as some are trying to do by demanding the dissolution of all provincial councils in a purely political decision," pointing out that "There are no positive reasons for the dissolution of the provincial councils, because in the case of the dissolution of the Council, what is the realistic alternative to not enter into a vacuum, then pay the price of the stability of any province."
