Al-Sudani said, in an interview with the Al-Ma’louma Agency, that “yesterday’s meeting of the state administration forces produced positive results, especially related to Kirkuk Governorate, as the meeting focused largely on the events and circumstances of what happened a few days ago in Kirkuk Governorate.”
He added, "The state administration decided to form two leadership committees from all parties," pointing out that "the first committee is specialized in finding solutions to the problems among the components of the governorate in a way that maintains balance among them. As for the second, it will work according to the principle of (Iraqi Kirkuk) and will identify, without courtesy, the offending party and punish it until "He will not resort again to stirring up strife within the governorate."
The member of the House of Representatives stressed, "Kirkuk Governorate should not be counted on a specific party and must remain an Iraqi governorate like the rest of the other governorates and be governed by a governor who works in accordance with the constitution, regardless of whether the governor is Arab, Kurdish, or Turkmen."
Yesterday, Saturday, the State Administration Coalition held an important meeting in the presence of the Presidents of the Republic and the Representatives. To discuss the recent events in Kirkuk Governorate, and ways to enhance security and stability.
In recent days, Kirkuk Governorate has witnessed tensions and clashes with the security forces, instigated by Masoud Barzani's party, through crowd mobilization and armed statements. Ended 25/pm
