Parliamentary planning reveals new trends to maximize non-oil revenues

A member of the Parliamentary Strategic Planning Committee, Mohammed al-Baldawi, on Sunday, on the trend of [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] to maximize the non-oil budget revenues in order to increase dependence in the preparation of the budget for the coming years, pointing to achieve a tangible success at the present time.
Al-Baldawi said in a statement to the information, that "non-oil revenues are still low, and it was hoped to exceed 15% at least, but the achieved rate did not reach 10%."
He added that "the government and the House of Representatives stressed the importance of moving away from borrowing, and go to borrowing on the internal provided that these loans go towards investment projects."
Al-Baldawi explained that "the maximization of non-oil budget revenues is contingent on the success of the banking sector and the activation of taxes and the introduction of the government to these joints, and control of border crossings and customs, while moving the commercial and industrial sectors, in addition to agriculture, which began to recover and achieved tangible success."
