, the deputy of the Al-Nasr Falih Al-Ziyadi coalition confirmed, on Sunday, that half of the MPs will vote to reject any candidate for prime minister that satisfies the political blocs only, while noting that the issue is related to the President of the Republic.
Al-Ziyadi said in an interview with (Mawazine News) that "more than 120 deputies submitted a letter to the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, to nominate an independent figure and satisfy the demonstrators to the position of Prime Minister," noting that "this will be in line with the political blocs."
He added, "More than half of the deputies will vote to reject any candidate produced by the political blocs and only satisfy them and not satisfy the demonstrators," noting that "the political blocs should look to the street in the nomination of the next prime minister and not to the method they use in the past years for the nomination."
He pointed out, "The need for the political blocs to leave the issue of the largest bloc that has entered Iraq in a downward spiral since 2010 and that the nomination this time be different given what Iraq is witnessing." Ended 29 / h
