Baghdad: Sumer News Independent MP Abbas Yaber Al-Atafi announced on Tuesday that a representative delegation will meet President of the Republic Barham Saleh this evening to discuss the candidate for prime minister. Atefi said in a press statement that "a parliamentary delegation will meet, this evening, the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, to discuss choosing a personality for the prime minister away from the heads of blocs and political parties." He added that "the delegation that will meet the President of the Republic represents 120 deputies who signed a few days ago to choose a personality for an independent prime minister that satisfies the acceptability of the street." Al-Atafi said, “120 deputies signed an earlier election to choose an independent figure who enjoys the acceptability of the Iraqi street before it was accepted by the political blocs.”[/size]
