An important class of citizens, given the huge and multiple tasks it carries out.
Saleh pointed out, according to the statement, "the need to give the elderly, orphans, the homeless and those with limited income a top priority in order to achieve social justice and provide a free and decent life."
He pointed out that "the importance of the two laws of social security and general retirement, and the necessity of developing and applying them in a fair and balanced manner, to include all classes entitled to them, and to support these groups with more by qualifying them to obtain jobs and training them through supporting small projects."
The statement added, "President Saleh also stressed the need to activate the Directorate of Survivors' Affairs in the ministry and to allocate the necessary capabilities for that."
The President stressed, "the importance of empowering young people, rehabilitating them, and benefiting from their energies, relying on Iraqi labor more than foreign workers, and providing training and rehabilitation opportunities and loans for their entry into the labor market," stressing "providing all support to the ministry and its existing efforts to carry out the tasks entrusted to it."
