Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei confirmed today, Wednesday, that the Shura Council’s decision in the force of response to the assassination of # Qassem Soleimani was correct.
"The attack on Ein al-Assad base was successful," Khamenei said in a speech during a meeting with the people of the Iranian city of Qom.
He explained that "# America wants to negotiate with us as a prelude to extending their influence."
He pointed out that "the decision to respond to the assassination crime # Qasim-Suleimani was correct."
Speaking of Soleimani’s role in Iraq, the Iranian leader indicated that “Qasim was a consultant and provided all kinds of support to the people in Iraq to counter terrorism.”
While expressing his welcome to the recent decision of the Iraqi parliament, regarding the exit of the international coalition forces , indicating that "the departure of the Americans is a must."
The word comes Khamenei after these Iranian rocket attacks, on Wednesday at dawn, on American targets in the # of Iraq , which is the first step to respond to the killing Soleimani.
However, US President Donald Trump made the first comment in response to Iran's missile attacks against US bases in Iraq.
"Everything is fine, there are rockets fired from Iran at two military bases in Iraq," Trump said, tweeting on his Twitter account.
"We have the most powerful and well-equipped army anywhere in the world, by far," he added.
