    The Integrity Commission revealed, on Tuesday, that it was able to control exchange documents for the purchases of the University of Kirkuk, indicating the existence of suspicions of corruption and waste of public money in it amounted to (12,000,000,000) billion dinars.
    The Investigation Department said in a statement, which received / Mawazine News / a copy of it, that "the staff of the Kirkuk investigation office affiliated with the authority, who moved to the presidency of the University of Kirkuk, has seized (88) exchange documents pertaining to university purchases and building maintenance, in addition to controlling mathematical restrictions marred by corruption suspicions." And waste of public money. "
    The department added that "the preliminary investigations revealed that there was an exaggeration in the value of the materials purchased, as well as the university's resort to retail business and purchases in violation of the budget execution instructions for the year of 2018", pointing out that "these violations were monitored in the report of the Federal Financial Supervision Bureau as well, and that The value of the sums of documents seized amounted to (11,698,383,549) billion dinars.
    In a separate process, the commission indicated in its statement, "A team of staff from the Kirkuk Investigation Office has seized three employees working in private banks in the governorate, and they have checkbooks issued by those banks while they are issuing passports issuance instruments contrary to the instructions of the Central Bank."
    She added that "the defendants distributed blank instruments containing the signatures of the authorized persons among the reproduction offices, pointing out that the process also resulted in the seizure of the owner of one of the reproduction offices who were working with the accused."
    She emphasized that “fundamental arrest records were organized with the seized items, in the two operations carried out on the basis of two judicial memoranda, and they were presented to Mr. Investigation Judge, who specializes in integrity issues in Kirkuk, who decided to arrest the accused in the second case in accordance with the provisions of Article (240) of the Penal Code.” End 29 / p.
