: The Integrity Commission announced, on Wednesday, that it had seized violations in a project worth two billion dinars in Najaf Governorate.
Integrity said, in a statement received by Mawazine News, a copy of it, that "the Najaf Investigation Office team revealed administrative and legal violations in the implementation of projects worth two billion dinars," noting that "the implementation of projects for the preparation of cloud crews for the Directorate of Sewage in the province in the form of a committee" to implement a secretariat. For the purpose of evading the instructions of the public tender.
She added that, "The team carried out two separate seizures in the Najaf Municipality Directorate, the first of which resulted in stopping a trespass on a property belonging to the state by a citizen on the pretext of establishing a fuel station on the pretext that there was a record of handing over the land to him," noting that "the audit work carried out by the team showed that: The handover report concerns another property and not the one infringed upon, in addition to the lack of fundamental approvals from the concerned departments for the purpose of establishing a gas station.
Integrity clarified, "The other control operation carried out in the Directorate of the Municipality of Najaf was made according to the letter of a member of Parliament, as it was moved to the rental unit in the directorate and the priorities for the Musataha contract on the Al-Wafa neighborhood park were seized, despite the disbursement of an amount of (350,000,000) million dinars; The fact that the park is located in an inappropriate place, which led to a waste of public money in the value of the sums spent to create it after being referred for investment by the governorate municipality directorate.” Ended 29/R77
