Electricity: Iranian gas has stopped behind the increase in programmed cut hours

The ministry's official spokesman, Ahmad Moussa Al-Abadi, said in a press statement, "The interruption of pumping the gas supplied from the Iranian side and feeding to a number of generating stations led to a decrease in the hours of energy supply to the capital Baghdad and the central governorates."
He explained: "The gas imported from Iran is feeding a number of generating stations, and its interruption has caused the loss of four thousand megawatts."
