The politician, the cleric, and a prominent Iranian scholar who worked as a former head of the Iranian Interests Section in Egypt, Hajjah Islam Syed Hadi Khusrawshahi, died as a result of being infected with the Coruna virus.

I grew up
Hajjah Islam Khusrawshahi was born in 1938 in the city of Tabriz, and he was a student at the hands of his father Sayyid Mortada Khusrawshahi, then he joined the Hawza in the city of Qom and studied Islamic science at the hands of Imam Khomeini, the bomber of the Islamic Revolution and the scholar Muhammad Hussein Tabatabaei.
Political activity and positions
He was opposed to the rule of Shah Muhammad Reza Pahlavi and after the victory of the Islamic revolution he was elected representative of Imam Khomeini in the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance and then was elected ambassador of Iran to the Vatican for 5 years and established in Rome "the center of Islamic culture in Europe."
After returning to Iran, he was elected an advisor to Minister Dr. Velayati, then an advisor to Minister Dr. Kamal Kharazi and a professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Tehran.
He is also a member of the Center for Political and International Studies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He participated in many international Islamic conferences before and after the revolution, including the Conference of Foreign Ministers of Islamic Countries in Cairo on behalf of the Minister.
Khosrow Shahi took over the presidency of the Iranian Interests Section in Cairo for a period of 4 years from 2001 to 2004.
There are four books available in him in Arabic, the first is “The Story of Rapprochement .. Stations from Sheikh Muhammad Taqi Al-Qummi’s Ideas”, the second “For the sake of Unity and Rapprochement” and the third “Ahl al-Bayt in Egypt” and the fourth Abdullah bin Saba between Reality and Fiction. He translated a number of Syed’s books Qutb of the Persian language and achieved the full effects of Sheikh Jamal al-Din Afghani.
Bringing Sunnis and Shiites closer
He is a member of the global convergence group between Islamic schools of thought and founder of the Egyptian-Iranian Friendship Association.
