The office of the martyr Mr. Sadr in Baghdad, Thursday, warned of "cacophony voices" trying to create strife and confuse the situation among the protesters after the squares conditions stabilized, while he revealed that he held a prolonged session in Tahrir Square.
"The voices that accuse the Sadrists of carrying out attacks inside the protest arenas are cacophony trying to create discord and confuse the situation between the protesters after they saw the stability of the arenas' situation," the director of the office, Mr. Ibrahim Al-Jabri, said in a statement reported by The Independent newspaper.
Al-Jabri added, “The people of the Sadrist movement are the sons of this country, and they have no problem with their brothers in the civil currents. Defending our current. ”
He pointed out that "yesterday a prolonged session took place in Tahrir Square with all the movements, and we reject any aggression against civilians to drag the protest movement into discord," adding that "we are closer to civilians from the political class and are continuing in this rapprochement."
