The spokesman for the joint operations, Major General Tahsin al-Khafaji, said, according to the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "A timetable between the Iraqi government and the international coalition forces to hand over the sites," noting that "the coalition forces handed over the fourth location in Nineveh to the Iraqi security forces."
He explained that "the site was providing support to the forces in the Nineveh liberation battles," noting that "multinational forces (Canadian, Belgian, French and American) were operating the site."
Al-Khafaji stressed that "the Nineveh operations command has the ability to deal with any terrorist threat to the province."
He indicated that the infrastructures left on this site will contribute to increasing the capabilities and development of the security forces. ”Ended 29 / A 43
