Iraqi Trade is looking at a mechanism to pay and match the financial dues of private sector mills

The General Company for Cereal Processing at the Ministry of Commerce announced, on Tuesday, its consideration of a mechanism for payment and matching of dues of private sector mills from the wages of flour production support.
The mechanism was discussed in a special meeting that included the general manager of the company and the departments concerned with conformity and financial accounts to determine the mechanism for paying the dues of the private sector mills in Baghdad and the provinces related to the production of shares and previous meals.
And a statement seen by "Al-Iqtisad News" quoted the company's general manager, Riyad Fakher Al-Hashemi, as saying that " the company's staff were also instructed during the meeting to work on completing the transactions related to support wages during a specific period."
Al-Hashemi stressed, according to the statement, "the company's commitment to the principle of transparency and positive cooperation with private mills, being the sectoral authority responsible for operating the mills and linked to the flour production contract concluded between the two parties."
