    Baghdad / Al-Akhbariya: The
Minister of Finance, Ali Allawi, confirmed, on Sunday, that moving from rentier budget to reform programs needs a year and a half, indicating that the budget should be supplemented with eight trillion dinars of taxes.
Allawi said in a televised statement followed by Al-Akhbariya, "The Iraqi government is in the process of moving its budget from the traditional to the program budget."
Allawi added, "The transition from the traditional budget to the program budget needs a year and a half."
He added, "The tax rate will not be high, and the budget should be supplemented with eight trillion dinars in taxes."
