The Central Bank of Iraq announced, on Tuesday, that it decided to supervise the work of the Agricultural Bank.
In a statement, Mawazine News received a copy, the Central Bank said that within the framework of the banking reform program that it has begun implementing and in order to advance the state of the government banking sector, "the Central Bank decided to initiate a number of evaluation measures in government banks."
And that, "in this context, direct supervision will take place fully over the work of the Agricultural Cooperative Bank."
Pointing out that "supervision will include a plan for rehabilitation and evaluation of all bank operations in line with its desired role in economic development." Ended 29 / p4
