[size=15]The Second Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Bashir Haddad, said, Saturday, that the Kurdistan Region’s share in the Finance Committee had been determined after it was determined.[/size]
[size=15]Haddad added in a press conference attended by NRT correspondent today (March 27, 2021), that "the agreement of the regional government with the central government regarding the share of Kurdistan is legal and has been signed, and that the region’s share is not the only obstacle to approving the draft budget, and we demand a vote on the draft budget in Tomorrow's session. "[/size]
[size=15]He continued, "The region will not be satisfied except with the draft that was agreed upon with the Iraqi government, and it is important to complete the budget talks today."[/size]
[size=15]He explained that "there are parties seeking to obstruct the approval of the bill, and Iraq will not remain without a budget this year, and that the Presidency of the Council of Representatives will hold a meeting with parliamentary blocs before the session is held to reach an agreement to pass the budget."[/size]
[size=15]He indicated that "a meeting will be held with the governor of the Central Bank and a joint committee will be formed from the government and parliament to discuss how to maintain the price without affecting market conditions, and that the government and most of the members of the Finance Committee will keep the exchange rate in its current position."[/size]
