Oil prices witnessed a remarkable decline, on Monday, as rescue teams re-float the giant ship that was blocking the Suez Canal.
Brent oil price fell by 2.38 dollars, or 2.14 percent, to reach 63.02 dollars a barrel.
West Texas crude fell $ 1.46, or 2.38 percent, to $ 59.55 a barrel.
Oil is preparing to close its fourth consecutive quarterly gains this week, supported by ongoing supply restrictions imposed by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and its allies, and optimism that global demand will expand with the launch of Coronavirus vaccines.
But the continuation of three weekly losses for Brent and West Texas crude oil, which led to a decline in the performance of crude oil, which led to speculation that OPEC + will refrain from easing restrictions again when ministers meet on the first of next April. Ended 29 / p4
