Brent crude fell 4 cents to 66.54 dollars a barrel, after rising 4.6 percent on Wednesday and closing at the highest level since March 17.
US West Texas Intermediate oil futures were down 11 cents, to $ 63.2 a barrel, after rising 4.9 percent in the previous session.
The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), which withheld supplies along with other producers, including Russia, this week raised its forecast for global oil demand this year, as OPEC expects demand to rise by 70,000 barrels per day from last month’s expectations, and it is likely. That global demand increases by 5.95 million barrels per day in 2021. Ended 29 / P4
