The Finance and Economic Affairs Committee of the Parliament of Kurdistan, on Thursday, suggested that the salary deduction for Kurdistan Region employees will end in the coming months.
The committee's rapporteur, Muhammad Saeed, said that "the repercussions of the rise in oil prices in global markets will appear in the coming months," noting that "the revenues of the Kurdistan region will increase."
He added, "The arrival of the Kurdistan region's share of the federal budget would end the deduction of employees' salaries," pointing out that "high oil revenues compared to last year."
And that "the parliamentary parties agree to end the deduction of the salaries of the employees of the Kurdistan region," stressing that "most parliamentary blocs have a unified position towards ending the deduction of salaries." Ended 29 / A 43
