, the Border Ports Authority announced, on Thursday, that it has seized bicycles intended for smuggling, in the central port of Umm Qasr in Basra Governorate.
The authority said in a statement that Mawazine News received a copy of, that "the port of Umm Qasr Al-Awsat was able to seize a container containing used bicycles that are not allowed to be imported in compliance with the regulations and instructions in force."
She added, "The seizure took place inside the customs compound based on information received from the Iraqi National Intelligence Service, and in cooperation and joint coordination with the concerned authorities." Ended 29/4
