    {Politics: Al-Furat News} Haider al-Abadi, head of the Nasr Coalition, which is part of the National State Forces Alliance, announced that the coalition "is in the process of activating interrogations and parliamentary inquiries to reveal the nature of political crimes."

    In a statement, Al-Furat News received a copy of it, Al-Abadi stressed the necessity of providing electoral security for voters and candidates, and he considered it a condition for fair and fair elections that achieve true public participation that enhances the legitimacy of the political system. 
    He added, "In this context, the competent authorities must uncover those involved in the assassination of activists and opinion-makers, and put an end to political crimes against political rivals."
    Al-Abadi explained, "The victory coalition and the rest of the state forces are in the process of activating interrogations and parliamentary inquiries to reveal the nature of political crimes, exert pressure to uncover the killers, and stand against the decline of electoral security requirements and general societal security."
    The head of the National State Forces Alliance, Mr. Ammar al-Hakim, yesterday called on the members of the House of Representatives from the coalition of Iraqis to work on summoning the security leaders to stand on their steps in uncovering those involved in the kidnapping and assassination of some activists and media professionals.
    Also, Mr. Ammar Al-Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim, Iraqi MPs, tweeted: "Informing the House of Representatives on the measures taken to protect opinion-holders and ensure freedom of expression."
    He emphasized that this would "ensure justice and reassure the families of the victims, reassure the street, achieve electoral security and encourage broad participation in the elections."
