The Ministry of Commerce announced, on Wednesday, the actual implementation of the program for registering factories and companies supplying to the Republic of Iraq, starting from the beginning of this June.
The Director General of the General Company for Iraqi Fairs and Commercial Services, Sarmad Taha Saeed, said that "this program will greatly contribute to the development of the import sector, through which the presence of those factories and companies supplying to Iraq is confirmed, through on-site detection of those factories and companies exporting to Iraq." He added, "This system reveals the efficiency of companies and their adherence to international methods and standards in the manufacturing process, and their ability to supply, as well as verifying the documents and licenses granted to them in their home country, and also verifying the origins of those factories and companies supplying to Iraq."
Saeed pointed out that "the General Company for Iraqi Fairs has issued a list of materials covered by the program for registering factories and companies supplying Iraq, so that the owners of factories and companies can register their companies and factories according to the time schedules announced in the list."
