The Ministry of Trade confirmed, on Sunday, that the registration program for companies and factories supplied to Iraq does not intersect with the work of the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control.
The Director General of the Iraqi Exhibitions Company, Sarmad Taha Saeed, said during his meeting with representatives of the Central Agency, Wissam Saeed Asi, Director General of the Quality Control Department, and Faisal Abboud Faisal, Director of the Legal Department in the Agency. He explained, "The two sides reviewed the details of the work and it was concluded that the program does not contradict the work of the Central Agency, since the task of the work of the agency is to examine the quality and quality of the material and the extent of its conformity with the Iraqi specification, while the registration program for companies and factories supplied to Iraq includes registration of factories and suppliers companies, addresses and their data and registration The production lines of these factories and their types of goods, in addition to the registration of authorized agents and distributors in Iraq. "
He added, "After reviewing the details, the two parties agreed that the program does not conflict with the work of the central apparatus, noting that one of the goals of the program is to provide a database that serves all sectors, decision-makers and all ministries, including the Ministry of Planning."
