Baghdad - Mawazine News: The
Independent High Electoral Commission revealed, on Saturday, an error of about 200,000 biometric cards.
According to the official newspaper, Hassan Salman, director of the Media and Mass Communication Department at the commission, said that "there are some mistakes by the Spanish company (Andra) that printed these cards," noting that "the commission will reprint these cards in order to be used by voters during the polling day." On the tenth of next October.
He added, "The commission investigated the matter and it appeared that the errors were caused by the company, not the employees."
He stressed that "mistakes are very present in the work, whether in the Commission or other departments."
And he indicated that "these cards will be sent to the company to be reprinted again and returned to Iraq and distributed among the voters in order to be used on the day of voting." Ended 29/A43
