{Political: Al Furat News} The US State Department commented on the recent Turkish bombing of areas in Iraq, calling for "the necessity of respecting Iraqi sovereignty."
The Department of Near Eastern Affairs of the US State Department said in a tweet on the Twitter platform, that "we have learned of press reports related to Turkish operations in northern Iraq."
"We reiterate our view that military action in Iraq must respect Iraqi sovereignty," he added.
It is noteworthy that Turkish warplanes have launched air strikes for days in the highest mountains of the Kurdistan region and the borders of Sinjar district, west of Nineveh Governorate, the latest of which today is the bombing of the military hospital of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK), classified as terrorist in Turkey.
