    Companies and shops in Al-Sina’a Street in the Karrada district of Baghdad are making extensive preparations after the reconstruction and decoration of the street, in preparation for reopening the shops until late at night, starting from the 1st of next October, while a festival and events will be held that may extend for a whole month from the opening date.

    It was agreed during two meetings by a number of companies and shops to revive the Industrial Street and open the street at night for computer companies and offices after a closure that lasted for 18 years from the year 2003, and it is hoped that Huawei will be the official sponsor of technology for a period of 30 days from the date of opening the street, which was determined On 1/10/2021.

    Participation and cooperation with the Municipality of Baghdad, the Karrada Municipality and the Rusafa Electricity Department were made to provide support such as external lighting, maintenance and linking it to the emergency line, in addition to providing service efforts to keep this street in its best form, as it included the meeting of companies and representatives of shops on Al-Sina’a Street, in addition to providing police patrols and in coordination with the Operations Command Baghdad.

    It is hoped that a third and final meeting will be held in which an agreement will be made to announce the events and festival held in this street with discounts for customers and gifts, which will take place during the first month of the opening, which will be on 10/1/2021.

    Among the changes that the street will witness are staying until the end of the night and the spread of newly built apartments for students from the governorates, as well as efforts by one of the shops to build a student coffee shop that will open day and night, and the passage of a section of the kiosks on Al-Sina’a Street at night.
