Shafaq News/ The prominent Iraqi politician, former MP Mithal Al-Alusi, sent today, Saturday, a letter to Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, regarding his visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran, tomorrow, Sunday.
Al-Alusi told Shafaq News Agency, "The Iraqi Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, should courageously and directly request Iran to stop its support for armed militias, which threaten the Iraqi state and pose a real threat to the expected Iraqi electoral process, especially since these militias will work to manipulate the results of the elections." Elections through the force of uncontrolled arms in the majority of Iraqi cities."
And he indicated that "Al-Kazemi is also required to inform Iran to stop its attacks that have been going on for days on Iraqi lands (Kurdistan region). This represents a blatant violation of Iraq's sovereignty, as well as creates security and political problems, and Tehran must stop these attacks, which it wants by creating an opportunity for it to be present in the lands."
