{Economic: Al Furat News} The former member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee and the winning candidate, Jamal Cougar, confirmed that the employees’ salaries are secured and they will continue to be paid in the 1/12 format during the next year in the event of delays in approving the 2022 budget.
Cougar said in a press statement that "salaries are part of the operational budget, as they remain continuous according to the 1/12 exchange formula for state departments."
As for the 315 decision-makers, he explained that "the previous parliament allocated a specific amount to them in the current year's 2021 budget, and we do not know how it was distributed by the government, because the distribution mechanism is only for the executive body."
It is likely that "the budget for the next year 2022 will not differ much from the budget of the current year, and it is likely that it will be approved during the next March or April, in the event that the Parliament convenes and the political crisis is expected to take place during the next period."
