{Economic: Al Furat News} Oil prices rose, on Monday, in compensation for some losses after falling on Friday about ten dollars a barrel, at a time when investors searched for deals, but they remained cautious, focusing on the Omicron strain of the Corona virus.
Brent crude futures rose $3.05, or 4.2 percent, to $75.77 a barrel by 00:14 GMT, after falling $9.50 on Friday.
US West Texas Intermediate crude rose $3.27, or 4.8 percent, to $71.42 a barrel, after falling $10.24 in the previous session.
Oil prices collapsed along with other financial markets on Friday, more than ten percent, in their biggest one-day decline since April 2020, after the new strain raised investor fears and increased fears that oversupply could increase in the first quarter.
