The First Deputy Governor of Najaf, Hashem Al-Karaawi, revealed that Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi issued directives to add allocations and include projects in the 2022 budget for the governorate.
Al-Karaawi said: We have prepared a study of the problems that the city suffers from, and they have been divided with regard to strategic projects, as well as lagging projects that need decisions from the Prime Minister, as well as projects that were not fixed in the 2021 budget, and among the strategic projects was the creation of a municipality for the old Najaf.
