On Wednesday, the office of former Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari denied the news of the latter's death.
The office said in a brief statement that Mawazine News received a copy of it, that "the news circulated by some social media about the death of Ibrahim al-Jaafari is untrue."
