The Ministry of Municipalities and Tourism in the Kurdistan government announced, on Monday, spending an estimated three billion dinars on service and development projects in the Sulaymaniyah Governorate, during 2022.
The ministry stated in a statement received (Mawazine News), that "the expenditure of these funds was on the restoration and renewal of streets and the development of supplies Water, running clean water pipes, providing a sewage network, digging wells, afforestation, and other service areas.
He added, that the volume of investment projects that were implemented during the era of the ninth government cabinet in the Kurdistan region exceeded 11 billion dollars, which were implemented by foreign, local and mixed companies.
He continued, "In 2020, the number of implemented projects reached 77 projects with a capital of two billion and 18 million and 271 thousand and 256 dollars, and in 2021, 69 projects were implemented with a capital of 8 billion and 509 million and 765 thousand and 986 dollars, and during the current year 16 projects were implemented. With a capital of 124 million and 58 thousand and 282 dollars. Ended 29/R77
