    The Information/Baghdad...
The Border Ports Authority confirmed, on Sunday, that the implementation of electronic governance systems will be gradual, while it indicated that there are 22 federal ports across the country.
The official spokesman for the authority, Alaa El-Din Al-Qaisi, said in a statement that "the commercial movement through the border ports is normal," revealing that "there are 22 federal ports throughout the country distributed between land, sea and air, operating around the clock."
Al-Qaisi added, "The staff in the Ports Authority is working to overcome the obstacles facing the work and its smooth progress, especially after the decision of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers regarding the entry of goods and emphasizing their implementation."
He revealed "the introduction of modern technologies into the work of border crossings for the gradual application of e-governance, especially with regard to customs duties related to the entry of commercial goods." finished/25
