Today, Thursday, the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan renewed its rejection of the Kurdistan Democratic Party's offer to waive the presidency instead of all government positions, indicating that the offer is old and did not bring anything new.
The leader of the Union, Ghiath Al-Sorji, said in a statement that talking about the offers of the Kurdistan Democratic Party regarding ending the political blockage is useless, adding that giving up the presidency of the republic from the Union is impossible, and it is a political norm and an electoral entitlement that cannot be waived.
