The First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hakim Al-Zamili, expressed, on Wednesday, his quest to include a clause confirming the contracts of free lecturers and administrators on permanent owners in the new budget.
A statement from his office stated that "Al-Zamili met the coordinating body representing the segment of free lecturers, and in the presence of a number of deputies, to listen to their demands and needs, and seek to solve them."

Al-Zamili confirmed, according to the statement, that “the House of Representatives will seek to include a paragraph stipulating the fixing of contracts for lecturers, administrators and free workers in the general directorates of education across the country on permanent owners in the budget law for the current year, and according to the controls related to years of service and the possibility of including free service for them.” Pointing out that "the basis for reforming society and building generations begins with reforming the educational process and taking care of its staff, and this is within our legitimate, moral and legal responsibility."
The First Deputy Speaker of Parliament pledged "to hold a meeting with the Ministry of Finance to discuss the issue of installing the lecturers and developing appropriate solutions to address their problems, in addition to the possibility of benefiting from the current financial abundance by allocating funds to install them on the permanent owners during the coming period."
