Al-Jubouri said in an interview with Al-Iraqiya official channel, which was followed by the news agency, that "Iraq is without food security, and it does not have food stocks for two months or a month," stressing, "We need to import 50 percent of the wheat."
He added, "The surplus achieved from the increase in oil prices is 25 trillion dinars," noting that "the Food Security Law is not a substitute for the budget."
Al-Jubouri indicated, "The fate of the 2022 budget has been completed by the Ministry of Finance," noting that "the salary scale has been completed since 2017."
