[rtl]Today, Saturday, the Minister of Water Resources, Engineer Mahdi Rashid Al-Hamdani, confirmed that Iraq's water rights are a red line, and we are not complacency in this file.[/rtl]
[rtl]In a statement, the Ministry of Water stated that Al-Hamdani conducted an inspection tour of the Al-Musayyib project in Babil Governorate to see the work of water distribution and delivery to the beneficiaries, accompanied by the technical advisor to the ministry, the Director-General of the Planning and Follow-up Department, the Director-General of the FAO General Company for Irrigation Projects Implementation, and the Water Resources Directorate in the Musayyib project.[/rtl]
[rtl]Al-Hamdani added, according to the statement, "Our presence in the project is to convey a message of reassurance to the citizens and to see the work of water distributions and deliver them to the beneficiaries and in justice despite the continued water scarcity for the third year in a row, directed to study the completion of the second phase of stone cladding for the Al-Musayyab project within the Kothi district . "[/rtl]
[rtl]He pointed out, that there is high-level coordination between the ministry and the local government in the district of Kothi with regard to removing abuses directed at drilling wells to deliver water to areas that suffer from scarcity, according to regulations prepared by the ministry to ensure that there is no excessive drilling .[/rtl]
