Shafak News publishes the details of the food security law prepared for voting
The government of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi submitted the bill, which is related to the current period, for not approving the financial budget so far, as the bill allocates more than 35 trillion Iraqi dinars (24.1 billion dollars), through which the government can conduct its business, but political parties object on passing it.
A parliamentary source told Shafak News Agency that the majority of parliamentary blocs will vote on the law, including the "Fatah" coalition, which was opposed to its provisions.
The Iraqi parliament had completed, at the end of last May, the second reading of the proposed food security law, after the law of emergency support for food security was overturned by the Federal Supreme Court because the current government is a government for the conduct of daily business and it is not within its powers to legislate, propose or send laws to Parliament.
