     Baghdad: Huda Al-Azzawi

The resignation of the Sadrist bloc from Parliament opened a wide door for speculation about the fate and course of the political process and the crisis of the blockage in it. Without the presence of the Sadrist movement in the political process.
The spokesman for the “Extension” movement, Manar Al-Obaidi, said in an interview: “What happened in the resignations changed the entire political equation, which led to a change in the political map within the House of Representatives and the rise of new and independent movements and the rise of a number of political movements, and it is possible to create a new reality in The upcoming political process and the end of the political impasse.”
He added, "But the most important question (how long will the formed government or the political process without the Sadrist movement hold?), and we know that the movement has weight in the Iraqi street, and any exclusion of it will greatly affect the political process and its legitimacy, and to what extent all political blocs are able to To form a strong government capable of achieving the demands of the people, implementing matters and facing the challenges that currently exist.”
For his part, the expert in political affairs, Dr. Haider Salman, indicated in an interview that “the political process after the Sadrist MPs submitted the resignation request, reached a state of actual blockage, and that this maneuver was for the purpose of mass movement and resorting to the street,” as he put it.
He explained that "these resignations will not change the mechanism for electing the President of the Republic, that it can only pass by a two-thirds majority, and that the resignations are governed by Law 49 of 2007, and the choice to submit the resignation during the legislative recess, and what was leaked from the signature of the Speaker of the House of Representatives to approve the resignation is not enough, as There is no such thing as a resignation signed by the Speaker of Parliament, but rather by an absolute majority vote, and perhaps this is a period of negotiations.”
He stressed that "the framework does not have many papers, but during this month we will witness a lot of negotiations and the framework will give more concessions, and we also do not expect that representatives from the framework or independents will replace al-Sadr's representatives with the ability to confront that the framework lacks compared to it." The chest block announced its decision.
As for the expert in political affairs, the former diplomat, Dr. Ghazi Faisal, he explained in an interview with “Al-Sabah” that “the Iraqi constitution stipulates a mechanism for dissolving parliament by an absolute majority of its members according to two options; The first is at the request of a third of its members, and the other is at the request of the Prime Minister and with the approval of the President of the Republic.
He pointed out that "the Sadrist movement's step by submitting the collective resignation for the purpose of placing the forces of the coordination framework in the face of major responsibilities before the Iraqi people after the practice of thwarting democratic mechanisms and suspending the constitution through the boycott and through what was demanded (the blocking third), and this is what put the political process, the parliament and the constitution in front of great challenges represented by By completely disabling all his capabilities and the capabilities of the government for eight months.”
Faisal asked several questions; Most notably, will the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the sovereignty resign? Through this resignation, the parliament will be dissolved and another early elections will be held? And many questions that will be awaiting what will result from other political decisions in the House of Representatives.”
