    The Parliamentary Committee on Economy, Industry and Trade proposed, on Saturday, the establishment of oil refineries to accommodate thousands of unemployed youth and graduates, noting that there is no alternative to investment projects to absorb the unemployment crisis.
    Committee member Kazem al-Fayyad said in an interview seen by "The Information", that "there is a difficulty in appointing all graduates, especially after the spread of private and evening colleges, which led to the doubling of their numbers," noting that "the best solution to get rid of unemployment that has spread among young people is investment projects." “.
    Al-Fayyadh indicated that “the prime minister was addressed to find out the details of the initiative launched by the prime minister under the slogan (Made in Iraq), as work is taking place in only two laboratories out of 100, and therefore the committee is following up on the matter to find out the causes and solutions to gradually address unemployment.”
    He pointed out that "the committee proposed the establishment of oil refineries in the governorates, which are abundant in large quantities of crude, that would employ many unemployed people, as well as enhance locally manufactured materials, including fuel, which we suffer from recurring crises because of it at the present time."
    Al-Fayyadh explained, "All governorates, especially the southern ones, include many investment opportunities that provide work for the unemployed and contribute to reducing poverty rates, and are not limited to oil projects only, as the Dhi Qar governorate alone includes two thousand investment opportunities. Ur is one of the tourist cities that if Foreign companies contracted to invest in it by building hotels, stadiums, etc., as well as the religious symbolism it gained after the Pope’s visit to the Vatican to become a province different from its current situation.” finished/25
