The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan confirmed that the Democratic Party's statements about going to Baghdad with a compromise candidate are nothing but misleading the public opinion.
The leader of the Union, Sherzad Samad, said in an interview with "Mawazine News" that "there is no dialogue about replacing Barham Salih or going to a settlement candidate, and we insist on Salih and talking about nominating a settlement is only for the party, and we expect it to mislead public opinion only."
He added: "We do not believe that the file of the Presidency of the Republic has an impact on the political process, and that the party's conditions are to extend the period and escape from agreement on basic issues." Ended 29 / h
