Al-Halbousi resigns from the presidency of Parliament and requests a vote in the Wednesday session
Shafaq News/ Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi announced on Monday his resignation from the presidency, and asked the parliament to vote on it in a session on Wednesday.
The meeting's agenda included voting on the Speaker's resignation from his post and electing the first vice president.
