    Information / Baghdad..
A close political source confirmed, on Saturday, the rejection of the discussions between the head of the Al-Fatah Alliance, Hadi Al-Amiri, and the head of the Al-Hikma Movement, Ammar Al-Hakim, regarding the ministerial amendment that Al-Sudani intends to carry out.
The source said in a statement to Al-Maalouma Agency, "During the past week, the Prime Minister held several meetings with leaders of political blocs from all political forces, where he discussed with them several security and political files, including informing them of his intention to carry out a ministerial amendment."
He added that "Al-Sudani's meeting with the head of the Hikma Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, and the head of the Fatah Alliance, Hadi al-Amiri, failed to convince the two leaders regarding the ministerial amendment, as he was informed of the refusal, indicating that "Al-Amiri and al-Hakim want the government to continue working until new elections are held, whether early or until the end of the electoral cycle."
Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani held two separate meetings on Friday evening with the head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, and the Secretary-General of the Badr Organization, head of the We Build Alliance, Hadi al-Amiri, where he discussed with them the implementation of the government program and the population census process, in addition to developments in the region.
