A qualitative operation, with direct support from the judiciary in Basra Governorate, the Border Crossing Authority, caught a major tampering in the file of customs and tax exemptions, which resulted in a waste of public money.
The Border Ports Authority, in coordination and cooperation with the presidency of the Basra Federal Court of Appeal, was able to seize fake factories and factories that had previously obtained customs and tax exemptions in violation of the controls.
The control process was carried out by the cadres of our authority after obtaining a judicial decision that includes the approval to move to the location of a group of factories and factories that obtained various and various exemptions to reveal the reality of their existence.
