Today, Saturday, the Security Media Cell reported the seizure and closure of fake tourist companies and facilities, and the arrest of 12 suspects, including terrorists, in Karbala governorate.
The cell stated, in a statement received by the "National News Center", that "according to accurate intelligence information, the detachments of the Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency in the Ministry of Interior were able to carry out a security operation in Karbala Governorate by checking guests in hotels."
She added, "The operation resulted in the arrest of 12 suspects, two of whom are wanted according to the provisions of Article 4 / terrorism, and the rest of the accused are wanted according to different criminal articles."
And she indicated that "the detachments seized fake tourist companies and closed other tourist facilities inside the governorate in violation of the law and regulations," noting that "legal measures were taken fundamentally against the accused."
